Your Rights Matter is a not-for-profit organization started in 2015 founded by students from the University of Sussex.

Currently, YRM is organized and led by University of Sussex Alumni and features guest contributors on our blog. ​

​Blog entries are written by students from a variety of disciplinary backgrounds who are passionate about human rights. 

We take a balanced approach to human rights, highlighting flaws as well as praising positives. But there is no denying that we believe human rights are important and our goal is to tell everyone who will lend us an ear exactly why we think they matter and are deserving of our protection.
